Good morning Monday

A place to chat with friends, old and new

Good morning Monday

Good morning.

We had the most fantastic day yesterday in Edinburgh. It's a really beautiful city. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the ride on the open top bus was very interesting.
Three Spanish people came and sat right behind us so I had the chat with them.

We had lunch at Greyfriars Bobby's Bar which was delicious then hopped back on the bus back to the starting point. :D

The poppy display at St Andrew's Square was poignant.

We got home around 7pm and then nipped to the pub for a few ciders.

A morning in the apartment nail painting  then meeting our cousin Ivor at 1.30 for lunch. :D

Hooking up with cousin Ryan and Nicola late afternoon. :D

Tonight I'm meeting a few friends in the pub for Pimm's and pakora.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Sunny :Hi: but not warm

Washing will be done today, hopefully it will dry

Then work will be done outside. Not sure what Grumpy will be doing, although I have a couple of cuttings that need to go into bigger pots.

Leftover curry and chips for dinner.

Hope all goes well today Jen xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

It is only 14C. It was lashing down with rain when I went fior the paer. It is still raining but not as heavy.

Am going to see the doctor this morning. I got a tyext last week to say an appintmenthad been made. I had not requested one. Maybe just an annual check up.

Then into town to go to the bank. Been having some curtains altered and i have to pay in cash. Back home will just be pootlling.

It will be pork loin chop and veg for dinner. May have a shot of whisky while i am watching TV to keep me warm. It is 12 year old when a bought it a couple of years ago.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s nice enough here at the moment although there are rainy looking clouds around. Edward is playing golf a little earlier than usual so he has gone walking to the club, there isn’t a bus at a suitable time. I have mobility class this morning then back to do whatever, maybe clean the bathrooms…or not  I also need to send a letter off to the person who looks after our ARF to release some funds - I have the letter ready, just need Edward to sign it so I can scan it and email it to her.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine, but very cold brrr

Up extra early, my hospital appointment isn't until this afternoon, but I have to be ready 2hrs before for the transport. It's for an x-ray and if progressing okay for a full cast. Stomach is churning, hoping the two falls on my first day home haven't done any damage.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hello all and good morning

2nd lovely sunny but windy day here - managed to get washing out and dried on the line yesterday and doing the same again today - yay! And looking at the forecast - no rain expected until the weekend; double YAY!!!!
The usual Monday working from home today - but sitting and waiting for someone to come round to pick up some Kefir grains; she said she would be here late morning, so hopefully it's not much longer because I have a little hedgehog that I need to take to Wildlife Aid and I'd really would like to get there and back asap

Hope you all have a lovely day and stay warm / dry etc... xxx
