Sad news

Unfortunately one of our past members here, Lissie, died on Monday :( Her children put a post on Facebook which I have just seen. Lissie was Betty Bridge on Facebook.

Sorry to be the bearer of sad tidings :(

Thanks kaz. Sorry to hear that Lizzie is gone. It is easy to lose track of people over time.

My condolences to her family.

I remember her too; it doesn't seem so long since she was on here. RIP.

No, Misty was Louise Brewer.

I knew about Lissa, should have told you all, I’m sorry. She has been unwell for a while, eventually taken to hospital where sadly they discovered she had cancer and sadly she did not live for too long. She was devastated when Don died.

Lissie and I used to chat football on Facebook, she supported Crystal Palace, then she stopped posting, not long after Don died

I am sorry to hear this

I remember the beautiful jumpers she used to knit for her grandchildren and the photos of Ceecee

I have just looked on her Facebook page and there is no mention, but she had two facebook pages at one time, so I deleted one, guess I deleted the wrong one
