Good morning.

The never ending summer continues with 29° today.
Looking at the 10 day weather forecast we won't go below 27°.
Getting dressed yesterday I looked in my cardi drawer and thought hopefully see you next month!

Off for my walk shortly.

A swim this afternoon and plan to be lazy and read. :D

SCD tonight and a Chinese takeaway. :D

Have a great day.

Morning all, it’s not bad out there. I’m feeling fine today, don’t know what was wrong with me yesterday, I did feel better as the day went on although we didn’t go out last night. An order I was expecting from M&S arrived this morning, it just about fit through the letterbox, I wasn’t expecting it till Monday. No plan for the day, I’ll just see where it takes me. Edward is busy in the kitchen batch cooking shepherd’s pie for the freezer. I’ll make the bed and tidy around, I’m fairly up to date on laundry, so might just knit or read.

Morning all, it’s sunny and there’s not a cloud to be seen here. We had quite a bit of rain overnight though.
Our forecast for the week shows it going back up to 17° for a couple of days.

Had a lovely long walk with Bill (and the torch) first thing, the washing was done by the time we got back so that’s on the line. It’s breezy so should dry quite quickly.

Joe’s still in bed, he’ll be picking Amanda up later after she’s finished work and then they’re off out into Birmingham, she’s staying here tonight.

John and Tom are in South Wales visiting John’s Mom. His sister has asked them around for dinner this evening, there’s no chance of his mother cooking so whenever any of us are there Theresa cooks the main meal and she really spoils everyone, she’s a great cook and a very generous hostess (unlike her mother, on both counts ). They’ll be back tomorrow lunchtime but me and Joe will be on the way to Manchester by then.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Rain first thing, nice and sunny now 8-)

Busy day for us, we have the bed to sort. It's still on the blocks needed when E had his hip done earlier this year and the only way to lift it off them is to dismantle the bed. We decided to leave it until it was mattress turn time, that's difficult enough, the blooming thing weighs a ton. We'll get that bit done before lunch. The mattress protector along with the pillow protectors are in the washing machine so they'll go in the tumbler shortly. I'll give them time to air and they can go back on later this afternoon. We'll also put the winter duvet cover on, sods law it's a tad warm today, but hey ho let's just get it done.

Absolutely no other plans!!

How you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon everybody,
Went shopping and then washed the car. It didn't looked dirty but it has not been done for a couple of weeks.
Have learnt that a lady at the topof the cresent has had two heart attacks. One of herdaughters was walking past as I was washing the car.
I saw the ambulance on Thursday afternoon. She was taken to the localhospitaland then transferred to Manchester Royal Infirmary. She had
a second heart attack before two stents were fitted. She is now home and her daughters are coming to look after her.

It was sunny this morning but it has now started raining. So may just relax this afternoon.

Have a good day everybody.

Afternoon everyone :)

Out early for some brekkie, with Fraggle of course  He was wearing his "hoody" coat today, and got lots of attention - including from one man who after overhearing us calling him by name told us that his ex-wife worked for Jim Henson while they were making Fraggle Rock, and that the crew were permanently stoned!   No surprise to anyone who ever watched it ;) https://youtu.be/l_zsz_MlVvI

Round to D's afterwards, I went online to renew her Blue Badge for the car - although why you should need to beats me, after all old age and COPD are not likely to just go away, are they? :cute: It cost £10 as well :o

Been home a while now, just chilling out..... 8-)

Love to all xxxx
