Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 11 Oct 2022, 06:17

Good morning.

Off for a walk shortly.

Conor's coming over late morning and as Jacob stopped over last night this will guarantee a laughter filled day.

As it's a national holiday here tomorrow they're both staying over tonight.
We're all going out for dinner. :D

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

That sounds lovely Ally :D xx

It's sunny here, so will be fairly chilly. Mick will be finishing D's hallway off - the floor is all done, so the edging (beading?) needs doing and she wants a border on the newly painted walls, so that needs sticking up. I'll walk into town, pick us up something for lunch, then take it up there.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

We are a little colder here, with varying shades of cloud

Another disturbed night. Two texts from the ministry of health, reminding Grumpy about this mornings covid booster and flu jab (with two hours in between  - which won't happen, he'll have them both at the same time) and then, just dozed off and it rained :Hi: :Hi: Grumpy snored is way through everything then moaned this morning, as I didn't wake/get up quickly enough  Quick slap for him then

So we're off to Ourique after breakfast, need some stuff from Nelson, then his jabs, then the supermarket shopping and need to collect a prescription from the chemist.

Coffee on the way back and then probably not a lot. bbq later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

Dull and cloudy and cold but no rain.
Willnot be posting for a couple of days. I am having a new carpet fitted in the smallbedroom where I have my computer. So I will be dis-connecting
everything so i can move everything out. The new carpet is being fitted tomorrow morning but I am giving myself plenty of time to move two
chests of drawerw, the printer, the monitor , tower, chair and other bits and pieces.

So should be backon Thursday.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s quite dull here, some sun is forecast for later. No rain though which is good as I put washing out last night. It was chilly when we went to bed, it took me a while to go to sleep as my legs were cold, so today’s main task is to get the winter duvet down from the attic and put it on the bed. Otherwise lots of other housey stuff to do.

Our Kellie is 8 today! Now where did those years go? I’ll collect her from school and bring her here for a while so we can give her her present. She is going for her guitar lesson just across the road from here, so I’ll bring her there and Miss Osc will collect her from there.

hello and good morning everyone

Osc, happy birthday to Kellie - 8????
Saundra, looking forward to a photo of the doll
Cruiser, good luck with the new carpet - and looking forward to having you back online when all is done
Jan, good luck to Grumpy with the jabs. Hopefully they won't knock him too bad esp given the cold he recently had. Seems that this 2nd booster is really hitting a few people hard so be prepared for an extra grumpy Grumpy
Kaz, Karl and I did my flooring years ago, the edging still hasn't been done  Could I borrow Mick for a few days?
Ally have a fab day with your boys :)

A cold start to the day here - first scraping of ice off the car windscreen this season. Was saying separately to Jan that where I live is in a bit of a dip so it's normal for us to scrape before anyone else and also some time after, but can't remember doing it mid October before; and given the past two winters was working from home so no need to defrost a cold car to get going to work - it was a bit of a shock to the system this morning    . Lovely and sunny blue skies now though - perfect autumnal day.

Have a fab day everyone and stay warm x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Hope Grumpy gets both jabs done together to save you hanging around for 2 hours Jan.
Good luck with the furniture move Cruiser.
Piccies please when the doll's finished Saundra.
Happy Birthday Kellie, time flies by so quickly Osc, I often wonder where it's gone.

I've just had a telephone medication review, very helpful. She wants me to submit 3 days worth of BP readings, the last time was well over a year ago. Also finally got a date for my diabetic blood test, which will be followed up by my annual review in November.

We're popping out for some veggies shortly, also have an order waiting at M&S.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Typical Portuguese chaos

Take your ticket, ask your neighbours which number they are and wait your turn.

he had both at the same time, no idea why they gave him two different times, bonkers.

Supermarkets quite busy, we don't normally do Tuedays, so no idea why that was.

Still cloudy, but rather warm.

Happy birthday to Kellie :Hi: :Hi:

Good afternoon.
Took MrsC and her sister through to see their Auntie Violet, who isn't doing too well atm.
This afternoon me and MrsC painted five panels of our back fence. It's been needing doing for some time now.
A quick nip to Sainsbury's and that will be it for the day.
Keep warm everyone!
