Proud sister-in-law moment yesterday

Postby meriad » 07 Oct 2022, 08:16

Nadine enrolled back in Uni for a 6 month course to become a Nurse Prescriber. One of the exams is a maths exam and she was so worried about it as maths is not her strong point and you have to get 100% for the exam as it's the most critical bit of prescribing - working out correct dosages. If you fail this exam you're allowed one resit and if you fail that you have to drop out the course and re-enroll and start all over. So lots of time and money at stake

Well exam was yesterday and she was told it would take anything up to 48 hours for the results to be announced, but whilst I was there yesterday evening she found out she passed the course. I'm so proud of her - she really is a phenomenal nurse and having this additional qualification will be a huge asset to any practice she works with. So now to keep fingers crossed for the rest of the course - but having passed this critical exam has definitely boosted her confidence
