Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 01 Oct 2022, 05:28

Good morning.

How on earth is October here already?!

Sunny and warm. 8-)

Off for a walk soon and back for a swim.

Conor's coming over this afternoon and taking us out for drinks and dinner tonight which means I'll watch SCD tomorrow but that's fine. I love seeing Conor. :cute:

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally, enjoy your swim, walk and weather. :)
Speaking of which it's raining here.
I need to do a little bit of work in the garden, get a paper and go for a coffee maybe. MrsC is going to look round our local Church.
Have a good day everyone, stay dry!

Morning all, it nice and bright here. We’ll be going to Michael’s soccer match later this morning then back for me to tackle some ironing and Edward to watch golf. Michael called over to see us yesterday as he had a half day from school. There is a bus that goes from near his house that brings him here. He has suddenly got so grown up which is :) and :( but thankfully he still submits to Granny and Grandad’s hugs ;)

Morning everyone

Sunny and warm 8-)

We're alone for the day :Hi: :Hi:

They've gone - separately  - to Milfontes and Odemira, to be tourists 8-)

I have the washing machine going and will have a clean round - even though the grandchildren are in their 20's, and live in their own homes, they're a messy lot

Out for dinner tonight :Hi:

We had a big electric problem last night, kept tripping out. But I saw Sergio, our electrician in Ourique this morning and he'll come out on Monday. We're managing with an extension cable and having the kettle in the lounge

We had hugs from the grandchildren last week Osc, 25 and 23, so you have ages to go still :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

The sun is out but it is chilly. Have been tothe chemist to pick up my repeat prescription. Doing some housework. It will keepme warm

Cromwell, my son has sent me some photos he took of the inside of Cologne Cathedral. He was in Germany recently working but had time to go there.
They show the stained glass windows very well. I went there for the first time min 1954 when I was in the RAF.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

We're of to have our Covid and flu jabs at 1pm, fingers crossed we don't end up with 2 sore arms. Planning to pop into the Garden Centre for a toastie and coffee on the way back. That's if it's not too crowded, they open their Christmas shop today, 20% off everything for one day only. If it's not too busy we'll probably have a mooch while we're there.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon you all.

I have had big problems with the laptop after a Microsoft update - see Computers. For someone not in the know it could have been an expensive repair. It took me about five hours so watch out!

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely day here - very sunny and 18°.

Tom left at 6 to drive to Derbyshire, he’s helping with the school’s Duke of Edinburgh camping weekend. Joe was also up early to get his booster, he then went straight to Amanda’s and he’s helping her at a craft fair this afternoon (meaning, he’s sitting in a chair with a blanket over his knees according to the photo she sent me  ).

We had a 3 mile walk with Bill and now we’re going to have a quiet afternoon. Got an Ikea order to pick up from their click and collect between 8 and 10 tonight.

Have a good day all :)

Oops! I honestly thought I'd posted earlier, but clearly not

Glad to see everyone is ok :)

We've had our usual Saturday morning here, brekkie out, then round to D's. This afternoon I put the winter duvet on the bed, packed away my summer clothes and got some warmer stuff out of storage - a heatwave for next week is now practically guaranteed :P ;)
