Thank you all for your good wishes. I’ve had a lovely day, spent much of it watching the Royal funeral, my friend who is over from Boston called in for a while. Then my sister arrived and went to meet Miss Osc and family fir a meal in a local pub, then back here for birthday cake. I got some lovely presents. We’re relaxing now.

I was thinking that the sadness of the funeral might have affected your birthday celebrations a bit, which I hoped was not the case. It just didn't come out as intended. Sorry.
