The twins stopped over last night which is going to make watching the old firm game today a rowdy affair.

I'll have a swim and Jacob's volunteered to make bacon rolls for brunch.

Strolling into town this evening to the plaza for cold beers.

Morning all, it’s wet and miserable here. Just a last few bits to go in the cases and we’ll leave here by 11.30 to go to the airport. We’ve splashed out and booked the car into the short term car park for the week, it’s nice to get into the car when you come back rather than stand in the taxi queue on a Saturday at Dublin airport. Normally flights to Italy are at the crack of dawn necessitating getting up in the middle of the night, so it was nice to go to bed and get up at normal times. I’ll probably pop in during the week to make sure you are all behaving

Morning all.
Still hot then Ally. Don't go too mad with the cleaning Jan. Autumnal here too Kaz; some trees are brown already and shedding their leaves, others are still green. Have a lovely holiday Osc; I do love Italy.
It's rained overnight here but it is still warm.
Eliza is sleeping over tonight, MrsC has just taken her in to gymnastics. Timings have been thrown out a bit because there was a murder in town last night and son in law didn't get home until 6 am, four hours late.
Daughter is going to Leeds this afternoon and son in law will be driving in to pick her up. But Leeds city council, in their infinite wisdom, are digging up the city centre and barring traffic from City Square; so God knows how he's going to be able to get there. All down to net zero. People are up in arms about it but there's nothing to be done, the council won't budge.

Grey skies but the sun is trying to come out. Have been to town for a bit of shopping. May put the hoover on this afternoon.

Have had a message from grand-daughter saying what colour and type of leather bag she wants. I am going to buy it her for Christmas.
I know it is early but she will appreciate it.
Osc, hope you have a good hoiiday. I have some euros you could have had.

Bright and sunny

Have a lovely holiday Osc.

Unless it suddenly starts to rain we're off out for a walk along the seafront shortly. Before we go I'll pop a gammon in the slow cooker ready for tomorrow. Expect we'll both be cream crackered when we get back so it will have to be an easy dinner tonight, ham and cheese omelette, baked beans and chips. Then we'll collapse in front of the box for the evening.
