Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 29 Jul 2022, 04:44

Good morning.

Nice again. :D

Walking into town this morning. It's a 30 minute walk but no doubt I'll get side tracked as it takes me through two parks on the way.

On the way home I'll call into Mr Patel's Spice Emporium and stock up on spices. :D

Get changed then it's off to the indoor climbing centre with Craig for another round of killer ab torture.

Spanish Friday night beers and tapas will be swapped for Friday night ciders and chicken kebab.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Chilly this morning. We're a lot cooler at night than the Algarve, so makes it much more comfy for sleeping. Think it's about 7C difference  But then we get warmer during the day too

A few clouds around this morning, only little white one's though and a bit of a breeze too. Means my lilo will be zapping around the pool again later   Kept bashing into the walls yesterday

Cleaning morning for me, pool, then I have the Commonwealth Games to look forward to for the next few days. Grumpy not impressed, means me hogging the tv for a change.

Ally, I forgot tumeric - can you get me some of that too please? Obrigadeen, bjs.

We have salad for dinner  but with secretos. I couldn't eat all of my black pork secretos last night, so brought it home

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning and happy Friday you two and everyone

A lovely sunny start to the day; nippy in the mornings though - overnight temps are only about 10 degrees which makes for pleasant sleeping but it's not helping the tomatoes ripen :D

I'm cat sitting for my neighbour for the next 10 days so that's keeping me out of trouble a bit :D Will be meeting up with Thomas (and maybe Amelia) this evening to play some pool; that's the most exciting thing to happen today I think :D

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all.
That's a good Saturday night Ally. Enjoy the games Jan. I miss having a cat Ria. Maybe I could hire one!
Dobby the dog has been snoring on the settee this morning. I think MrsC is wearing him out with three walks a day. It doesn't half calm him down though.
Shopping soon, we've got virtually nothing in the house.
Grey and raining this morning, but not cold. Supposed to brighten up later.
A glass of guinness tonight, as it's good for you. ;)
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it’s fairly dull out there. We are heading off to Carlow sometime after midday, I still have to pack the kitchen sink ;) Looking forward to a fun weekend of dancing and chatting. I’m feeling much better today, that’s the worst reaction to a Covid vaccine that I’ve had. Right, need to tidy around and finish packing, no rush.

Good morning everybody.

Have been to get an estimate for two covers for the matresses for the two loungers. One is in the shed and the one I have used is on the
small couch in the kitchen. The firm I am using have already made a cover for the large umbrella/sunshade. Only cost £20.00. I will have to wait
about four weeks to have them made bas they are so busy. It is only a small firm which specializes in tapaurlins and similar goods.

Am starting getting things together for the cruise as I go next Friday.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Washing and bed change day for me. Really need a few bits for Sunday dinner from M&S, but didn't get there yesterday because of the hairdressing appointment. Should pop over today at some time, but my ankle is still extra sore and the washing keeps me busy enough so it will have to wait till tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning everyone :)

Mick got a negative this morning, I got a faint positive, but needs must so we headed off to Sainsbury's, masked and hand gelled up! According to the gov.uk website that's ok. It wasn't busy, and we were fairly quickly in and out. About to have a sandwich out on the decking, in the sunshine - both still pretty tired.

Take care everyone :) xxx
