Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 10 Jul 2022, 04:48

Good morning.

The heatwave continues. 8-)

The train journey was smashing yesterday and it was fantastic to see Craig waiting for me . :cute:

Today we're going to beautiful Matlock for a walk then having lunch at a place we went to two years ago and really liked. :D

Home to finish the game of 90s Trivial Pursuit that we started.

Have a great day.

Oh I haven't played Trivial Pursuit for years, Ally - used to love it  xx

Morning all :)

A sunny day here, it's warming up :D Our usual Sunday stuff played :) No need to cook later, I bought a roast chicken yesterday, and we have loads of salad stuff, and some low-cal ice cream in the freezer :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Warm already and another hot day 8-)

Just been watching Molly catch a mouse in the field and has brought it home, kindly

Cooked breakfast for us this morning, and that's about it for the day  We were going out with Jan and Joaquinha for dinner, but heard nothing from them, so have got some favas out of the freezer. They're probably forgotten  They really are dreadful, the pair of them, for remembering stuff

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy but nice and warm. We’re watching our usual Nashville country music programme. Going dancing later, it’ll be warm :? Then we’ll be home in time for Edward to see most of the final round of the Scottish Open.

Good morning all.
You bring the sunshine Ally!
Good cat Molly!
We're waiting for an Amazon delivery and our son is coming to dinner. I need to get out for a walk this afternoon even if it's only a swift totter round the close.
Sister in law is a mad keen tennis fan and will be watching the men's final today.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

We had a lovely walk along the seafront yesterday, there was a nice breeze until we got close to the harbour, it was sweltering down there. I was completely done in by the time we got home and a couple of ice packs for my ankle were needed.

Staying home and trying to keep cool today. Will be cooking a rotisserie chicken to have with salad for dinner around 6ish. I haven't made jelly and blancmange for the last couple of weeks, that's on the menu for today and is setting in the fridge.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon everybody.

I am browned off. Have had an hour in the sun on a lounger. Have had lots of sun cream on so I shouldn't get burnt.

Will have anothe hour or so this afternoon. It will still be hot so I wont stay out toolong. Can't have sun on my back as I have nobody to put sun cream on it.

Will not be watching the tennis. Will try to read the paper in the ront as the sun will have moved round and it will be in the shade.
Have a good day everybody.
