An evening walk.

Postby Workingman » 21 Apr 2013, 19:12

There was nothing on TV so I went for a walk.

The sky was blue with a mix of fluffy clouds. The breeze was fairly strong, but not so cold. Perfect!

The trees are in bud in comparison to last week. The Forsythia is in flower and the apple and cherry trees are waking up. The birds were singing, especially the Blackbirds. Everything is a bit late, but it all just seems to be waiting till the flag drops then it will erupt in an explosion of life.

Any day now!

Not much of an explosion here yet. :( A few reluctant buds a bit of cherry blossom and the odd brave daffodil. Still hoping though. :)
