Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 23 May 2022, 05:18

Good morning.

After days of sauna like conditions today will be 32°.
I'm glad I'm an early riser as my walks and runs can be done and finished before it reaches those giddy heights.

I'll have a swim later and sometime this afternoon my new camera is arriving. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another dull, grey and cloudy start. Quite cool too

But a great temperature for strimming, so that's what we'll be doing this morning. Down the drive, down the track for me, then back to hopefully, do the last strim of the garden.

Breakfast and putting washing out inbetween, then collapsing and doing nowt this afternoon

I've taken a pork pie out for Grumpy, as a treat at lunchtime, when he will have that and a beer as he really struggles with the exercise now.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

32C sounds a lot easier to live with Ally :) 8-) xx

Much better weather for gardening Jan :) xx

Back to normal here today, Mick and B back to work, I’ve vacuumed round, done some cleaning and have a huge pile of holiday ironing to do later! First though I’m going into town to meet up with Em for our usual Monday lunch and chat :)

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all, I was hanging out washing earlier, and although the sun is warm, there is a strong breeze and lots of heavy looking clouds around. Edward has gone to play golf and I have plenty to do around the house now that Michael and Kellie have gone home. It’s ten years today since we retired, it’s been a busy ten years! Still the best thing we ever did, we’ve never missed work for even one minute.

Morning all :D

Raining here

Same for us Osc, I retired 12 years ago, E 10 years end of November and neither of us have missed going to work either 8-)

Definitely not a day for walking along the cliff top. I need petrol so will pick up a few bits from the small Tesco while I'm there. I haven't bought petrol since the price rises, will be interested to see how much a full tank costs.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning everybody,
I retired in the last century. 1996 was the year.

It i cloudy but warm. Have been to get some wood so I can finish bxing in the gas pipe in the garage.
Have also ordered a new papershredder. The one I have has stoppede working after paper got jammed. I have had it several years so not worth
ytying to have it repaired.

Will just be potling this afternoon.
Ally, What camera are you getting?

Have a good day everybody

I retired 17 years ago :Hi: :Hi: I was 47 8-)

Strimming done, pool cleaned out, Grumpy lying on the bed reading. I now need to sweep up the dead grass around the pool or that will go in to  And scrape off the bird droppings  They've decided our pool is one big water bowl and hop around on the cover when it's on and using it as a toilet

We really need to get the defunct dish off the side of the house, as they nest in the pipe.
