Good afternoon all.
I'm glad it went well for E, Jen.
Well Mr Covid has nipped over from the Osc's and paid us a visit too.
MrsC has been tired out and coughing for a few days now and this morning lost her sense of smell. So she borrowed a test from her sister and bingo, she tested positive.
We actually think it's on the way out of her now but we'll see. I will get some tests from the chemist. I suppose that it will be me next.
I've been referred to rheumatology for my hand but there is a twelve week waiting list, which isn't brilliant.
Our road has been resurfaced and looks very posh! I've had to park my car about 100 yards away though. As soon as I can I'll get it back on the drive.
Have a good day all.

Glad it went well yesterday for E Jen xx

Oh dear Crommers, spray Mrs C with disinfectant - or yourself ;) Hope she's okay with it and you don't catch it x

The flamingo's arrived a little while ago and they are so much better than we expected :Hi: :Hi: Dead chuffed. They'll be put up tomorrow :D

Spent most of the day out in the garden. Four barrow loads of lavender walked up the drive, over to the ruin, ready for a bonfire. That shattered Grumpy, chopping them all, so he went and had a kip, whilst I carried on

Steve came up for a quick visit, as he wanted something we had and the chemist were trying to sell him tablets, instead of liquid. So that was him sorted.

Think I should have put sun cream on, my face is glowing slightly

Stew warming up, footie later 8-)

Hi all - Crommers I hope you manage to avoid it, or if not, that it's a mild dose. My work pal Yvonne caught it from her H and has been off work for 10 days, she was due back on Monday but was still positive and not well but the Wednesday she was neg and came back to work! I only hope I don't get it from her! :?

Thursday means aquafit day :D (I go Tuesday evenings too but it's literally class and then home, Thursdays it is a bit more sociable) - it's blimmin freezing out, very windy and damp this morning. After class Pam and I went for a coffee, (Anne is still in Spain, three days break in Malaga for their Ruby anniversary last Sunday) and then I had to leave to get back for a fringe trim booked at 1.45. No class next week (booo!! Thanks school holidays!) so we'll probably organise to meet for a coffee. After fringe trim it was on to Lidl and Tesco for the weekly shop, before home and giving the kitchen a huge clean - long overdue!

Jo are you still enjoying This Is Us?

Good news there Jen! 8-)

On a sad note, it is the anniversary of the death of my gorgeous nephew Ian, left us April 7th 1987, only 18  He was more like a little brother to me than a nephew and I wonder often how he would have been as a husband, a father....

That’s very sad Gal, sending you a hug x

Yes, I’m still loving This Is Us, it’s interesting to see how it’s all coming together now that we’re heading into the end of the series. Still a lot of questions remaining though!

Glad you're still enjoying TIU Jo xx
