Afternoon all *breaks into song* “The bags are packed, we’re ready to go” except for the toilet bags. Can’t believe that this time tomorrow we will be in Italy (fingers still crossed). I am having my nails done at 2pm then we will go into the pub next door for something to eat. We need to be up about 2.30am :? so it will be early to bed. Last night we were both extremely tired so were in bed before 9pm which was good practise, I slept through till 4.30am and then a bit more after that! We had a lovely time with Michael and Kellie yesterday, they enjoyed the walk we had planned, we saw a few boats very close up, one was a Stena line ferry and it was so close you could hear the announcements telling people to go to their cars! The children were delighted because they waved and people waved back at them. I’ll try and pop on during the week to tell you how we are doing.

Ally, I’m so glad yesterday went as planned. Now you need to look after you, as it will all catch up on you and you will be very tired xx

Thanks for the good wishes everyone, it was a great day! So lovely to see the boys, and little Poppy, and to meet Mikki, Sam's OH who is Japanese. Her English is limited - she's over here to improve it - but it's far better than my Japanese could ever be ;) Lovely girl! Fraggle behaved beautifully, and played with Poppy like a little lamb 8-)

The food went down well, especially my trifle, but I don't think I've ever done so much washing up   Just got home, tired but happy :)
