thanks Shell - I have a huge tub of the stuff and have been dipping the girls in it every three days and also sprinkling it over the wood stand the coop is on, adding it to their dust baths and the wood shavings that cover the floor in the run. I've removed all bedding from their coop, instead using newspaper for the past week and will keep that up whilst it's warm enough and they don't need deeper bedding. What I did discover today (and thought it may be the case...) I've got an auto door opener on the coop and actually opened the box that contains the mechanism today and that's where a lot of the beasties were hiding as well so gave that a good clean. They really are just grim grim grim

Hi Gal :)

It was resting on the sofa (I really shouldn't have done that  ) Fraggle jumped up, and unbeknownst to me knocked it down between the cushions, into the workings under the recliner. I sat down, hit the button for the footrest to come up - and "crunch!!!!"   I'm having trouble getting some of my games back on the new one :cute:

They are grim and the worst thing is they can survive for up to a year I think away from the host. So unless you burn everything, they will lay dormant and come back again
