Morning everyone

Dull, grey, mizzley rain  but warm

That's my washing plans out of the window then

No plans, will be watching some of the Olympics and that's about it for the day.

Thoughts for Ally, dad and family xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Janb and anybody else who is up.
The sun is trying to come out but there are some clouds about.

Waiting for someone to come to give an estimate for blinds. Had one last week so I will be able to compare prices.
Also going to make some phone calls and then just pootling.
Have a good day everybody

Morning all.

Quite pleasant here and looking dry for the rest of the day.

My landlord informs me that a new canopy for the front door is being delivered today. It's a uPVC neo Georgian job to replace the well rotted original wooden one, Great!. When will it arrive? Sometime today came the reply. so that's me stuck till it gets here.

Ah well, have a good day everyone. Take care,

Not a bad morning here either, the sun has just got out.
In a while we will have a short trip to our son's house and get a bit of shopping. MrsC has got a wash on atm.
Apart from that watch a bit of the Olympics and not much else.
I've had a right shock trying to book a holiday cottage for next year. One we went to a couple of times used to be circa £700 for a week and I thought it was dear at that. For next year it's £1,700 for a week!
Also 30% deposit, so even if you cancel you could lose £500 plus.
The cottage we have just been in is booked solid for all next summer, too.
Oh well, have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s dull and cool here - a bank holiday Monday so not unexpected  Edward is playing in a charity golf match later so I’ll probably walk as far as the golf club with him and then back to do not very much. We have the Olympics on, currently watching artistic gymnastics but hoping to see the Irish team in the show jumping.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Thinking of Ally and family xx

Gosh that's a huge increase Crommers, I know Covid has caused hardship but it seems a lot of people are cashing in, they could well find it bites them in the bum when more people start to travel abroad again.

Not sure why, but I thought it was a bank holiday today :o it doesn't really matter, we weren't planning anything anyway  Expecting a delivery from Tesco later, wonder if everything ordered will arrive, they seem to be struggling with certain items more than Sainsburys. Not a problem for us as we split our order between the two, so if an item is missing we can usually get it from the other. We'll be glued to the box watching more Olympics this afternoon, more medals for GB, whoop whoop :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Wow, that's a huge increase there Crommers  xxx

Glad you got to see Scarlett, Saundra :D xxx

I've had a pleasant lunchtime, Am and I met up with the old WW helpers gang for the first time since last spring - it was lovely to catch up with everyone's news :) Then I popped in to see D on the way back. It's very overcast here today, but it hasn't rained. Becky has the week off, so she'd pegged my washing out for me and it's almost dry 8-)

Zumba tonight, back in the hall, so looking forward to that - Mick will drop me up there, but Em will drop me home afterwards.

Love to all :) xx

A bit more normality there then Kaz! :D

Crommers, Tom and Shannon went with her parents to a family wedding in Croyde, North Devon last week. It was postponed from this time last year and they’d originally booked a cottage for then which was £800 for the week, they’d decided to make a week of it. Obviously that was cancelled.
They looked at rebooking the same place when the wedding was rearranged and they had a date for it and it was £3000  Suffice to say they looked elsewhere and found a lovely place for much less, I think he said it was £1050. Still a lot but there you go.
