Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 27 Jul 2021, 07:20

Morning everyone

Another lovely sunny morning, but we still have that chilly wind :cute:

off down to Chris and Lucy's after breakfast, so Grumpy can finish putting the door frame back together. he'll have to get some stuff from the drogaria tomorrow, to make it all secure.

I'll wander round and check the plants and take a couple of cuttings too

Back for a swim and we have gammon steak for dinner. Not had that for such a long time, we'll probably hate the taste

Thoughts for Ally, dad and family xx

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Jan, good morning everyone

Hope it warms up a bit for you Jan. And good luck with the cuttings mission. I do like a nice piece of gammon with fried eggs and chips; yum!

Another dull and dreary start to the day here; it was like this yesterday as well - then at some point it warmed up a bit and became really muggy. But the forecast for today is mostly cloud and rain so think it may be more of an indoor day - much needed in all honesty; the house is a tip  :?

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, I was up and out early as there was a man coming to measure Miss Osc’s kitchen so I went to let him in just after 10am. The much forecast rain never arrived and although it is a bit cooler, it is still muggy. It’s mostly cloudy and there have been a few rumbles of thunder. When I came back, I went to the hairdresser to make an appointment for a couple of weeks time, also went to the post office and bought a few bits in the shop. This afternoon I want to write thank you notes to my brother and his daughters for our lovely weekend, but otherwise I’ve nothing else planned. Thinking of Ally and her family.

Morning all :D

Dry at the moment, but we've had light showers and expect more.

We spent most of yesterday catching up on The Olympics. Our athletes are doing so well, must admit I shed a few tears seeing Tom Daley finally win Gold.

E's neck is still a little stiff, but way better than yesterday, almost back to normal. We're off out for a bit of shopping at Westwood Cross later, M&S is a definite. The rest of the day will be spent in front of the box catching up on the new medals we've won, go Team GB 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Thoughts for Ally and family (((((x)))))

Another cooler day today, but still no much-needed rain. Nothing much exciting to report, been to town, walked up to see D, walked home  I might start on the ginormous pile of ironing that I made for myself yesterday. Or I might not!

Love to all :) xxx
