I've got a cold, how unfair is that. Cant even blame taking my mask off in Morrisons as it started the same afternoon.

Well day five of "freedom" and I took my neighbour shopping - everyone in the store was wearing a mask; which I think is fab. They still have the hand / trolly sanitising stations which is great and the only thing that is slightly changing is that people aren't as anxious about the distance keeping. Some will still rather jump into the pile of lemons to avoid getting within a 2m radius of you but most just take a small side step

I went into the McColls post office yesterday and I was the only person in there, I wore a mask but the two staff members weren’t wearing them. I then went into the Co Op and passed a woman who was leaving with a mask on, all staff were wearing them, I walked straight to the till and after I’d paid I noticed that the two people who’d formed the queue behind me were maskless.

Tonight was our first supermarket shop since Freedom Day; in fact the first time we've been out of the house other than for walks.

Waitrose was reasonably busy for a Friday night, with a good age-range of customers, teenagers to senior Ostriches.

I'd say approaching 90% of customers were wearing masks.
And around 50-60% of "colleagues".
