Good morning.

Very hot and sunny. That's it for the next 3 months and it'll only get warmer.

I'm just back from a good run. I get out about 6.15 and back for 7.30 to avoid the heat.

I'll have a swim then spend the rest of the day in/around/by the pool to keep cool.

Spain's first game tonight and they're playing in Seville. Conor's friend Arturo is going. And of course Scotland's first game too this afternoon.

Pleasantly cool outside, but that will soon change

First load of washing out and then I'll have to wait until Grumpy has moved the car, so I can put the second lot out. He's washing it and checking it over, as we're off on a jolly tomorrow

Not sure what I'll be doing, must remember to water the tomato plants and the pots and that about my lot.

Slight change of plan

The car needs oil, so we're off to Ourique. Will get petrol on the way back, saves getting it tomorrow. Oddly, petrol stations are few and far between here, so you really need to think about having a full ish tank all the time.

Morning all, it looks nice out there. I’m off to the gym this morning and have a list of stuff to do this afternoon, want to get up to date on ironing etc. as we have quite a busy week ahead and on Sunday, we are going away for a few days. Edward will heading off to the golf course shortly. Happy Monday everyone!

Morning all, it’s another hot one.

Bill’s had a long walk and I’ve just put a chicken in the Instant Pot to cook for with salad this evening.

If I ever EVER mention thinking about doing a jigsaw of a map EVER again....tell me to think again.
I started doing one of Birmingham on Saturday morning and despite spending hours on it over the weekend I’ve only done the edges and a few middle bits. It’s got to be done because I want to frame it and put it on the home office wall, with the London one which I did and failed to learn my lesson with

Jan, we haven’t got many petrol stations around here either despite there being so many cars on the road. It’s 10 miles from Cannock to Stafford along a busy rural A road and there’s just the one place to fill up between here and there.

Hello!

It's been a lovely sunny day here, clouding over now though! As usual on Mondays I've been out with Emma. She picked me up and we went into town, for a mooch and a cuppa and sandwich in M&S. I called in to see D on my way home, then walked home from there. We've just finished lamb chops, salad, and the cold leftover new potatoes from yesterday - yum! We're watching Boris now - hopefully we won't get indigestion b xxx
