Hello! It's been pouring down with rain the past two days and we've got at least two more days to come of it. As mentioned on my facebook page, I'm a bit concerned about a sink hole that has developed across the street from my apartment. There's a creek that runs under the building where I live and with all this rain, the water is running very high. Hopefully the building is safe, as the city fathers have insisted, but you just never know. I may have to resort to building a tiny ark in my apartment so that when the building starts to float away, I'll have some sort of recourse.
Of course, if the temps drop, we could just get snow.
Which would be very depressing.
I recently received an email from an old flame who wanted my phone number to talk. His mother had died and I had sent a condolence to his family. Not sure what he wants to "talk" about, but we'll see....
Other than that, I am doing OK. Looking forward to the weekend. I hope we're not nuked by North Korea by then.
