Good morning Good Friday

Postby Ally » 02 Apr 2021, 05:57

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 27 degrees. 8-)

Off for a walk shortly then back to very happily laze and read.

I had the first swim of the season yesterday so will continue the water theme this afternoon.

We've been out loads recently so I wasn't bothered when Don said he'd like to stay in tonight to watch Birmingham City on the box. I'll watch GB Menu and Masterchef on my tablet and we'll have pizza.

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Foggy this morning and not that warm. Clouds and sun forecast for today.

Housework for me this morning, then a wander around the garden, feeding all the plants. Grumpy will be pool boy. He couldn't do it yesterday, to wet and windy out there. He'll also do the vacuuming in the house and the floor mopping :D

And we'll go out later  Only own to the bins and then the recycling   and check the post. But still - out

Labour of love for me later. Grumpy loves fish pie, I loathe it, but I'm making two this afternoon. One he can have tonight, the other is for the bin - no, sorry, the freezer ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

The sun is ot but there are some clouds about.

I will be like Grumpy, mopping the kitchen floor. It has not been done this year. Will also be doing some vacuuming. Doing one room at once.

No problem after having the vaccination yesterday.
Have a good day everybody

Good morning all, it’s grey and chilly here.

It was just like the good old days this morning when we walked Bill, as in we only saw one other person

Joe left early to drive to Cornwall to collect Amanda. She texted me last night to see if it was okay if she showed up as a surprise on his 21st birthday next month and we’ve hatched a plan which will hopefully work. I suggested that I tell him I’m going shopping and ask him if he’ll pick me up from the station, but when he gets there it’ll be Amanda getting off the train. If that doesn’t work we’ll go for Plan B which will be sneaking her into the house. Bless her, it’s a 6 hour journey and a few changes.

We’re going to have a quick picnic later on Hednesford Hills (sausage rolls, hot cross buns and hot drinks) and I’m making Katsu curry for dinner.

The Tesco delivery is coming this morning, I’m debating changing now they’ve sent emails saying they’re going bagless on deliveries from later this month. It takes so much longer, as it is at the moment I quickly lift the tray liners out and the driver’s off on his way within three minutes, and the crates aren’t very hygienic.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, sun and cloud here and it’s chilly. Off out in a while for the regular Friday walk with two friends. Might do some ironing later. Dinner from the pub tonight.

Morning all :D

A bit dull and chilly, but not as windy today.

Got the first load of washing on the go, only three more to go, sometimes wonder where it all comes from, there's only the two of us :? We're planning another walk along the cliff top, hats and gloves ready, sod's law it won't be as bad as yesterday.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It's a beautiful day here, if slightly chillier than the past few days. We've decamped around to D's, dogs and all, and I took a few bits round for us to have lunch together. The patio doors are open, and the fresh air and sunshine flooding in 8-) :) Her garden looks stunning at the moment! :) No particular plans for the rest of the day, just going with the flow :)

Ally, outdoor swimming sounds like a dream! Enjoy :) XXX

Good old Grumpy, Jan :D XXX

Have a nice walk Osc :) xxx

You too, Jen :) xxx

Glad you're feeling ok after your jab, Cruiser ((x))

Ew Jo, I don't like the sound of those trays either :? Enjoy your picnic, and I hope the plans to surprise Joe work out 8-) :D XXX

Enjoy your Good Friday everyone :) xxx
