Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 13 Oct 2020, 05:03

Good morning.

Warm and sunny.

Usual work day.

We went on a shopping spree yesterday and one of the things we bought was a ninja foodi multi cooker which Don is going to put to good use tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool outside but lovely in the sun 8-)

Another day of waiting for the gas man to turn up. I know I said it wasn't urgent, but said Monday. Stupidly, I didn't specify which Monday   I'll ring him this afternoon again.

Waiting to hear from friends travelling from England as to when they'll get here for a quick - very socially distanced - visit.

Grumpy will be chopping up the garden - and hopefully not the irrigation pipe again :cute: Me and my blisters will find something else to do. Probably a snooze this afternoon, as I've been awake since 3.00

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all. It’s quite bright here but a tad chilly. We’re forecast some rain for later though.

Bill’s had a long walk and I went for a run around the village after we’d got home. Once I’ve dried my hair I’ll hoover through.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Pouring down here :(

If it's the ninja cooker I've seen advertised Ally it looks looks good, I'm sure it will prove very useful.
Gosh 3am Jan, you'll need that snooze this afternoon.
You wouldn't have wanted a run in the rain we're having Jo.

No plans for today, I've popped a casserole in the slow cooker so that's dinner taken care of.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, another lovely Autumn day here and I’ve been for a long walk - building up my kms for Sunday’s 10k. Since I got back I’ve been sorting out laundry, some out of the machine, more gone in and done some hand washing too. Just about to have lunch, and knitting planned for the afternoon.

We've had rain almost constantly for almost 36 hours! Heavy too, not the drizzly stuff, my garden has a pond!

I'm working (well, I'm AT work, having a break atm) and have snuck on here for a bit  :D :D It's not often I am working alone these days but we have no clinic and I've done all my prep and other bits so am well sorted.

Nothing much to report, same old same old - hope all are well - I looked at the Ninja Foodi to use at the caravan, but ended up getting an air fryer instead, one that roasts, grills, bakes, etc. I used it last Tuesday - it's soooooo bright when it's on  8-) 8-) Chips were not to my liking and the pies had really tough pastry....I'm sure it's just till I get the hang of it, but it's put me off it a bit, and no less time to cook really, despite what it says on the box!

Jen how is E today? Recovering well I hope x

Take care all xx

Evening everyone :)

I've had a lovely day :) Little Poppy was visiting her great grandma (mum and dad came too, of course ;) ) so B and I went up at lunchtime - goodness what a lovely child she is! A tiny blonde pixie, bright as a button :D She loved the Peppa Pig book I bought her, and she and B played together for ages, P really took to her 8-) :) She's almost two and a half now

I have a Tristar Power Airfryer, it's very good for potato wedges and it cooks a whole chicken beautifully in 40 minutes!

Love to all xxx
