Bob Monkhouse was on a few weeks later... I have never laughed so much. Totally different from his TV persona.

Tommy was brilliant live too - I'd never been much of a fan of his TV shows but laughed myself silly at the live show :D

Sorry for the threadjack Cromwell  xxxxxx

My cousin - the roofer - had his guys do mum's bathroom for her. I think she paid him about £3000 but he did it at cost as a favour for mum just after dad died. Not sure of the exact figure as he did the kitchen at the same time xx

So it's not that dear after all? Blimey. The work includes new bath, toilet, washbasin, shower and tiling.
As a matter of fact I saw Tommy Cooper live in Sheffield. He was hysterically funny. :D

No probably not that bad thinking about it - although Mum's bathroom had a special shower in it with a seat and stuff and the whole bathroo was made to be used in her old age - which sadly she never really reached :( Still it made the flat very saleable with a new bathroom and kitchen in, I guess................ :?

Cromwell you should always get two or three quotes for any work, I think ;)

Our quotes, all three of them, were for around £12,000. That was for taking everything out, moving the bath up and the toilet down. Taking out the shower cubicle and building in a sink with vanity unit. Shower over the bath, blocking up a window, new ceiling with lights, new floor with underfloor heating and heated towel rail
