Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 09 Oct 2020, 06:10

Good morning.

Gorgeously warm and sunny.

Off for a walk and I'll have a swim around 11.

Nail painting and pootling then to the academy at 4.30 for two private classes.

Finish at 6.30 and I'll meet Don for Friday beers and tapas.

Have a great day.

Misty in the valleys and going to be another lovely, warm day 8-)

We're back to having fresh egg delivered and Jose Felipe took us by surprise and was here just after 7.00  So will have something eggy for breakfast

Grumpy wants to get out and do some painting before it gets too hot and I'll do the cleaning.

Chicken and clams for dinner, so need to marinade the chicken for a few hours.

Hope E is continuing to feel better and had a good night xx

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Good morning! It’s sunny here although quite chilly.

I’m just back with Billy, the sunrise was beautiful this morning. I want to go for a run but have to wait until after 9 because whichever way I go I have to pass the primary school and really don’t want to get caught up in the mayhem that’s the school run

The washing is almost done so I’ll hang that out shortly, hopefully it’ll dry a bit before the forecast rain this afternoon. Might do a quick raid on Ikea tonight, we’ve had a new sofa and chair for the downstairs living room and the sofa’s bigger than the old one so the side table won’t fit but it needs something in the space so I’m thinking a big plant, Ikea usually have a good selection.

Have a good day all :)

Morning you three, morning everyone

7am egg delivery Jan - that is rather early; but yummy to have fresh eggs for breakfast ;-)
Jo, Ikea do do fab plants, don't they - and usually so reasonably priced. Just as well all Ikea's close to me are just over an hour's drive - otherwise I'd be more broke than I am
Ally, we can only dream of warmth here; it's a beautiful sunny morning but only probably around 7 or so degrees here ; brrrrrr

Not sure what today has in store; I need to pop to either B&Q or Homebase to get some drain cleaner for the bathroom drain and then general tidying and pootling I think.

have a lovely day everyone x

He was probably on his way to work ;)

I hadn't left any money out for him, but I'll catch him sometime during the week.

Afternoon all, it’s bright and breezy here, although very chilly when the sun goes in. Met up with some of the gym ladies outside the pub next door for coffee and chat. There were five of us, two who we hadn’t seen for ages so it was great to catch up with them. I had a parcel delivered just before I went out, some Craghoppers wet weather clothes that we ordered last weekend after our walk in the pouring rain  Another parcel due between 14.17 and 15.17, how precise, stuff we ordered from Dunnes Stores. DPD are very reliable, they arrive when they say they will. Jen, glad to hear you had a good night.

Good afternoon everybody.
Computer would not turn on this morning. So took the tower to our local repait shop. Left it while we went shopping. When we called on the way back,
it had been fixed. The original On/Off button was broken. Now have to use the much smaller reset button. Said it would cost about £100.00 for a new
switch. He could build a new one with better specs and parts for about £500.00. So may treat myself for one at Christmas. This one is six years old so
maybe I should upgrade.
It was raining when I went for the paper. Have had blue skies but there are still some grey clouds about.
Bought two face masks which are held in place by a spectacle frame. Only £2.00 each. You can get replacement screens. We like them better than the
ones which are attached to a head band.

Have a good day everybody.

Cruiser, we bought some of those as well - they are definitely loads better than the ones that go via a head band; and £2 is a fab price!

Ria, as long as the M6 is running okay it’s only 15 minutes to Ikea for us which isn’t always a good thing
