Morning all :)
Lovely and sunny alternating with dark and cloudy, windy but quite warm.

Kaz have a lovely time :)

Our boiler's thrown a funny wobbly, rather than not working it didn't stop! Thought it was a bit too warm when I got up; the boiler was roaring away despite the thermostat saying it was up to temp. Switched it off to stop it; we'll manage by doing that for the weekend, don't really want to bother Andy on his rare time off but if we happen to see him will grab him ;)

Not good news of my cousin. She had the brain surgery on Wednesday, first signs looked good but not so. She had a stroke during the surgery, which will affect her speech and mobility, possibly long term; lots of physio etc ahead.
Also the surgeon was unable to remove all of the tumour, so what is left will regrow, though no telling at what rate...not nice.
She is a very fit and strong woman, which will stand her in good stead.

We seem to have wandered to Easter without making any plans at all :D
Bb has bravely volunteered to go into town (we need wine which is a good incentive!) so we shall have hot cross buns :)
No fish for us as he doesn't eat it, I'm making a Thai pork mince recipe, served in little gem leaves, for dinner.

Hope you all have a lovely day

Ally this is more of a traditional town, no shopping centre etc, so more shops hold with not opening certainly Easter Sunday.
W/rose are on short hours today, and closed Sunday, I'm sure M&S food will be the same, and lots of the little shops don't open Sundays anyway.

Morning all :D

Very late up, only just having brekkie

Have a lovely day with your mum and dad Ally.

We need to go into town for fruit and a few other bits. Would like to walk in but I'm struggling with my hip and ankle at the moment, I'm sure all the driving didn't help. I'm popping pain killers and anti inflammatories like they're going out of fashion, it's ridiculous, E's walking better than me right now

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all.

It's dry and sunny here, so I've had a little walk up to the shops.
Nothing planned yet for this afternoon, but we'll think of something, I'm sure.
Mrs A has just finished decorating her Easter Cake, and it looks absolutely smashing.

Hope you all have a lovely Easter break, and that you manage to do a bit of walking, Jen.
