Afternoon, a real April day here, sunny then showery. We've been busy this morning, but I will tell you why on another thread. We are going out with Miss Osc and family, plus my sister, for an early meal to celebrate Miss Osc's birthday, after which we will bring the children home to their house, put them to bed and babysit while Miss Osc and SIL meet up with some friends for a few drinks. Hope it doesn't rain while we are walking to the car all dressed up :?

We've been to see the baby lambs :)
The pop-up farm shop is on a sheep farm, they've been lambing for a week or so, but always hold a 'lambing live' day and this is the peak weekend.

All the due ewes are in a huge barn, then once they have given birth are moved to individual pens with their babies.
They're amazingly placid, don't mind at all being in amongst so many people and loud children.
Quite a few had triplets, one more ewe due with triplets.
Happily only 3 orphans so far.

The shop was open too so we have wild boar sausages for brunch tomorrow, and hogget steaks for dinner...yes, even after seeing those babies  :)
