We are having a fairly quiet day but going out for lunch. We have no relatives near, so it will be just us.

The big surprise of my day is that my dear husband remembered that I had been saying a while back that I fancied a go on the Segway and he has bought me a voucher. I can book and go any time I like this year for a session in Cartmel. I am thrilled to bits - I have really fancied doing this. What a lovely surprise. It's a lovely sunny day today too - can't be bad.
