Good Morning Friday

Postby Diflower » 22 Feb 2013, 08:12

Morning all :)
Dry and clear but bitterly cold here, as is everywhere I think today.
I have an appointment at the hospital this morning, for my bone density test, so will be rushing around soon.
Youngest is being dropped off here at 9, since Bb's here till I get back. He had his brace fitted on Tuesday :)
Will be back later :)
Have a good day all and don't get too cold!

Good morning :D

I've been up for hours...coughing!! :o :o :o :o :o :o

I'd felt a slight tickly cough on the plane coming home and yesterday out running my chest felt 'tight' :?

My shoulders and chest feel like they've been trampled on.
Where's that come from??!!

I don't feel ill though.

A walk up and down our killer hills for me this morning..if my cough doesn't kill me that will!

Usual Friday night tapas and beers (medicinal of course) tonight.

Good luck today Di. x

Enjoy the day. :D

Lovely cold morning here. Good for a brisk dog-walk. Just back and had breakfast.

Not much on th agenda today, except our weekly Lodge Coffee Morning, when we all gather in the lounge to coverse.

Have a nice day !.

Sorry to hear you're feeling under par, Ally. Sounds like you need to open a bottle of something.

Morning all. Bright but cold here.

Lazy day planned here. Girls still in bed and I'm only just up.

Morning chums :D freezy day here. Nothing special planned for this morning, but this afternoon I'm going to see my lovely Cranial Osteopath lady. I'm hoping she can help with some of my tinnitus. She relaxes all the tense muscles in my neck and head, so I'm hoping it may help a little.
Good luck at the hospital today Di and love to those not feeling so well.
Have a good day everyone and keep warm xxx :D

Good morning all, really cold here as well and very dull, but at least it's dry. Mr. Osc has decided that he won't play golf as it's so cold, and he is still getting fully better........so we have decided to make our very first visit to Ikea  I don't know how we have resisted it for so long  Ally do be careful, of course planes are such unhealthy places anyway, and there are so many awful bugs around. Good luck with the bone scan Di, and enjoy having your head felt, Lozzles! Have a good day everyone :)

I'm back Bb's gone, youngest on wii :)

It's a scanner thing Kaz, you just lie there (fully clothed) and it's up above you. It moves a bit but only reads spine and hips, for those who don't like these things it's not enclosed in any way and not noisy or anything. You just chat with the person operating it for a few minutes and it's done :)
Results take a while, mine will go to my gp as well as the oncology unit, so I'll phone in a couple of weeks to find out the result.
The drug I take thins bones so it's done every two years; so far I've been ok.
Good luck this afternoon Loz, hope it helps you feel a bit better if nothing else
Di

Good afternoon everyone!
It's dull with a bitterly cold wind here. We'll be wrapping up warm later and going for a long walk on the Chase. Not much else planned for today, the gym was done first thing and John's been for a bike ride while I was there. Billy has a vet appointment for a booster at 5.30pm and that's about it.

Glad your appointment went well Di, and good luck to Loz for her appointment - fingers crossed it will help xx

Have a good one everybody!
