Complete change of plan here!

David's car wouldn't start this morning and he couldn't get into work - they've told him it's quiet so to have the day off now.

We are going to Jose's with our lap tops and work out the places we'll be staying at in Norway and make plans over a few bottles of beer.

Well it is still holidays here.

Good luck with the scales Kaz! I'm happy (and relieved) that I'm wearing a pair of jeans that I'd washed and put away before Christmas and they've fastened up with no problems  I suppose that's what having a dog who loves long walks does!

Saundra, take it easy. There is a really nasty bug this year, as Di said xx

We're just back from a frosty four miles around Cannock Chase. Couldn't believe how busy it was though. All car parks were full that we passed, and even the out of the way one we headed for was packed - we had the last space - and the roads were lined with parked cars. We're just sitting with a nice coffee each now, we're all loving the Tassimo machine. Joe bought Tom one for Christmas so he's going to keep it in his room in the halls.

Di, I wish we had a Waitrose nearby. Our closest is on the other side of Wolverhampton. It'd be handy, not just for the food, but for the John Lewis pick ups. We've gone slightly up in the world though as we now have a M&S Foodhall on the retail park by Pets At Home.

Greetings all - so sorry that I haven't been in touch much these past few days... loads to catch up on here I feel but dare I say I'll wait until tomorrow when I have another one or two nice quiet days before bossman gets back

Not much to report here, I've had the nicest, laziest ever 10 day Christmas break. I had loads planned and achieved very little of it but hey; who cares.

Tomorrow will be back to normal x

Aw thanks everyone, well I had gained a few pounds but I know now I'm back on track again that it will soon go :) Zumba will help, and don't worry Cromwell there is little chance of me overdoing it ;)

Mick met me in town afterwards and we went into the Debenhams sale :) He has Christmas money too but didn't see anything he fancied. I bought a dress and a jumper - will post later on the Boutique board if I can find some links 8-) :D

So glad you've had a lovely time Ria, so did we :D :D :D

Ally, that sounds like a plan 8-) ;)

Jo, yesterday I got into the size 12 trousers I wore on Christmas Day, but I'd still gained weight  Mick says it will be glycogen sitting in my liver (yuck!) and won't get laid down as actual fat if I zap it quickly :ugeek:
