Morning all :)
Rather lovely here now, the sky has cleared and the sun has come out :D

Bb's out working, hopefully home mid-afternoonish.
I did consider going into town for the market and was up and at it nice and early, but tbh it will be heaving and I don't really want/need anything. So many years I've driven round the car park 3 times, given up and come home again :? :o
It will probably be quieter next week, and I quite like being amongst the crowds on Christmas eve :)

Tomorrow Bb and I can go into town, I think we just need to get something for his mum and dad now.
Instead the plan was to carry on with yesterday's domestic godessness but it hasn't happened yet! :D Plenty of time... ;) :x
Hope your days are all going to plan

Good afternoon all.

It's dull but dry here. We aren't going far today, as we are getting ready for a three day holiday that starts early tomorrow morning.

We are going to see the fabulous Christmas Spectacular Show at Thursford in Norfolk We went there last year, and enjoyed it so much
that we're going for a second helping. It is a fantastic show, on on extremely long stage - in fact there is only one larger - at The Follies B..... (I can't spell it) in France.

Hope you are all well.

Be good. - and keep dancing. :D

Evening all - next time I am going away, even if only for one night - please remind me to (a) bring some antacid tablets and (b) bring lavender oil. We were in bed well before midnight last night as Mr Osc's now rather heavy cold precluded any dancing. However, I had terrible indigestion :( and even when it eased I couldn't sleep

But we did have a good time, the hotel was lovely, a converted manor house and our room was in what had been the stables. Having left Dublin in rain, by the time we got to Co Kildare, it had cleared up and the rest of the day was sunny. The meal was delicious but I would never eat three courses normally, hence the indigestion. There was a very heavy frost overnight and the countryside looked beautiful this morning in brilliant sunshine. We had a lovely breakfast and spent time chatting but headed off early and got home just before 1pm. Mr Osc went to bed and I slept in my chair, as we are going out shortly to watch the SCD final with friends which shoukd be fun, even though himself is not feeling 100% and his voice is fading, but it won't be a late night.
