Thanks all, just passing Oxford now. Three of us are travelling light with small suitcases while Tom has large suitcase, I think he's packed for a month

Ally, what a great present - doesn't seem like 5 minutes since they turned 21 though!

Ria, the exchange rate isn't very good at the moment. In the past we've had $2 to £1 but at the moment it's around $1.20. Still, things are cheaper over there so there'll still be bargains to be had!

Kaz, won't be long until you're all together for Christmas :D

We only got €1.13 to the £ Jo - compared to previous years it was rubbish :( Does that mean Tom is the only one with hold luggage to check in?

Morning all :D

Safe journey Jo, have a lovely holibobs.

We were a bit later than usual setting off yesterday, so didn't get here till after 4. Traffic wasn't too heavy, but lots of roadworks so it took nearly 5hrs.  Tbh I was so tired we just checked in, had a coffee, then went over the road for an early dinner

Off to see mother soon, hoping to have a happy visit with her.

Hope you all have a good day :D
