Afternoon all - it's lovely but a strong breeze/wind again! Difficult as can't have windows open as it causes doors to clash but then it gets too warm when they are all closed....

Well I am home alone today! :D Tom really wanted to go to the van despite not being the best himself - he thought the sea air might help. So he's gone off on his own and taken the dog. Jen has just gone out to Kyle's for the night...I'm looking forward to some down time, I know I haven't done much this week but now and again it's nice just to be on your own and do as you please :) (IMO anyway)

The garden really needs a good few hours spent in it to 'twirl' it over and cut back some overgrown shrubs, but I really don't have the energy atm. I bought half a dozen lavender plants in Lidl the other day so I might pot them up if I feel more energised later.

Have a great Saturday everyone xxx

Hi Gal, enjoy the peace and quiet but take it easy, and give yourself time to get better - the plants will wait a bit ;) (((((x)))))

It's been gorgeous since about 11am Jo, perfick for out and about in ;) Hope you enjoy your schlep around Stafford :) Mick and I had a nice lunch, sat outside Corretto's, and then we went into Trespass to see if they had any deck shoes for Mick. Not only did he get a really nice pair, but I also got some lovely pink slip-ons for only a fiver from the Clearance section :D They'll be great for Rhodes in October - did I mention we were going away???? :P ;)  Got D's phone sorted too 8-)

Good afternoon all.

It's a lovely day here. We have been on the train to Leamington Spa..
It was the first time we had been there, but we certainly will go again, It's such a lovely place.

The rest of the day will be watching the Olympics.

See you later. :D

We visited Leamington Spa a few years ago, when we had a weekend in Warwick, you're right Aggers, well worth more than one trip :)

Gal re wind, just use eg cans of beans as doorstops, I couldn't bear to have windows and doors closed
A big plant pot spends all day holding the back door open too (it opens outwards).

Lovely day here, and lovely Rafa on tv now :D
