It's Mother's Day here so Conor is taking me out for lunch.

It's also Dia del Trabajo which means because it falls on a Sunday they make it a bridging day so it's a holiday tomorrow - basically 2 days of bonkersness.

Plan to catch up on lots of TV recorded stuff this evening.

We're off food shopping soon, then home to make a big Sunday roast (H's fave) and generally chill out Harry saw the phone he wanted yesterday in Carphone Warehouse, but it is £60 cheaper online so we've ordered it for him Becky is working again, lots of extra hours at the moment

Morning all, pretty dreary day here, although the rain has stopped for the moment. We are going dancing this afternoon, looking forward to that. I cleaned the wooden floor downstairs yesterday, on my hands and knees, but thankfully seem to have no soreness - might tackle upstairs tomorrow which is bigger. Hope everyone has a nice Sunday

It's a lovely morning here. Just been out for a walk up to the local convenience store.
My pollen allergy doesn't seem quite so bad now, so hopefully it's now on its way out.
Quite a few indoor jobs will keep me occupied this morning, then we'll be watching
snooker on the telly.

It's beautiful here, and dare I say finally a bit warmer (ok, less cold!).
The forecast is definitely showing it warming up over the next week or so, about time too

There's washing on the line, and I'm doing a little bit of garden pootling/tidying, otherwise we have the snooker today too (and tomorrow), but also the Grand prix and IPL cricket
We do intend going out as well, thank goodness for record function. Not sure about dinner yet, might go into Waitrose and see what looks appealing while we're out.
Oh, we have doughnuts though - do you remember I do these home panels tests for Tesco? Hadn't had anything for ages, but so exciting (!), had to go and buy a Tiger loaf and a pack of jam doughnuts to eat and comment on
They sent a giftcard to pay with, and apparently will have to use it again in June sometime to buy more
