Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 10 Feb 2016, 07:52

Good morning. :D

A cloudy day with some sunshine forecast but 19 degrees so still nice enough temps. :D

I quite fancy a nice day mooching at home so that's what I'll do.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally, your moochy day sounds good :) xx

Morning everyone :) It looks like yet more rain today, you really wouldn't think there was any left! Still, plenty going on here. My dishwasher has been playing up since last week and has been unusable, so the man is coming out today to look at it, and hopefully fix it! I know it's only a tiny problem but I haven't half missed it, especially on Sunday when I cooked a big roast  LOL! Then if D is about I'll go and see her, probably take some soup and have lunch :) Zumba tonight, I really missed it on Monday! :Hi: Becks is working today so can't come with me, but I'll meet Emma up there.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

Grey and gloomy here  not cold, just feels it

Going into Ourique again today, shopping, post office, centro de saude, see Sonia, have coffee and when we get back we'll be moving furniture around - again   Not that we have a big space, but I think we're not making the best of a small space, so tv and sofas will be shifted around

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather xx

Morning all :D

Bright and dry here at the moment.

Things went well with our visit to Wilts. Mother looked really good and was pleased to see us, but Chris her keyworker says she's been having a few unsteady on her feet moments, only to be expected really. She's very happy so that's the main thing. We'll be back up to see her for Mothers Day. Also E got the all clear for another 3 months :D :D :D

Was intending to go for coffee with the ladies this morning, but was so cream crackered after the drive home yesterday when the alarm went off I just turned over and went back to sleep  I have to admit I'm finding it more tiring these days, with the big 70 looming in April it's not surprising really, but most of the time I don't feel that old. The M25 is a nightmare though and it just seems to go on and on........

Really must pop out to get some veggies and fruit after brekkie, but that will probably be the most exercise I'll attempt today

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all

Jen, that really is good news re E and glad your mom seems to be doing OK and appears happy - as you say, that's what counts.
Kaz, I'd be lost without my dishwasher - even living on my own  Hopefully the guy is able to fix it today
Ally, enjoy your mooch day; I'm jealous. I could easily do with a day at home
Ton, your day just sounds exhausting - don't overdo it. You and Grumpy won't know what to do with yourselves once everything is sorted out  (because no, you can't dig that pool yourself!)
Enjoy your respective days Cruiser and Vic

have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, bright and sunny here but it's cold. Got back on Monday night and for various reasons, yesterday turned out to be a busy enough day, so I'm pretty tired today. So I think I'll just potter around today doing anythng I feel like, and nothing if that's what I feel like too .... Mr Osc wants to know how that is different from any other day   He is going out to play golf later.

We had another lovely train journey on Monday although the very scenic part was much shorter. All connections were exactly on time and we got to Zurich airport with plenty of time to eat and get to our departure gate, which is just as well because it is a very large airport, we had to walk and walk, then get on a monorail to get to the gate, you wouldn't want to be late! It really was a super break, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Have a good day everyone :)

He did fix it, thanks Ria :) :Hi:

Jen that is great news about E and I'm glad your mum is doing as well as possible ((((x)))) Got to agree with Ally, there is no way you look almost 70!! :o :) :D :D

Mind your back Ton! Mick hurt his a bit at the weekend, when he put a spare bag of gravel from the garage on top of the recycling box, to stop it blowing away  Poor man is limping about, I gave him my wheat bag to use last night so he could get to sleep! :(

Welcome back Osc, I loved hearing about your trip, it sounded amazing :D 8-) 8-)

:cute: :P :cute: @ MrOsc

I'm off to see D shortly, bearing tomato and basil soup - I take the soup, she provides the crusty rolls, then it will be an early afternoon Junk TV fest of Bargain Hunt and Judge Rinder, as she usually has those on 8-) :D
