I don't know, perhaps when an assault is that serious they have to secure it in case it does become a murder scene? :?

Thanks everyone, it's all gone now, the tape and the tents! Back to normal, but it has been unnerving!

So, it was youngsters, and the fact that they were all juveniles seems to be why the police were so reticent to give details.

Maybe the fact that the playground is now "known" will keep others away.
