Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 27 Jan 2016, 07:17

Good morning. :D

Forecast nice again. 8-)

I'm marking the last of the exam papers this morning then off out to meet a friend for coffee and cake. :D :D

Taking another friend to the airport at 4pm - he's flying to Madrid as his brother has been working in Argentina for 5 years and is paying a visit to the family home in Madrid so a big party has been organised. :D

Hairy Mary's is looking likely for dinner and a beer tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

It's been raining and blowing a gale during the night, but seems to be settling a bit now. Still very windy though.

Blood tests were okay, he's going to monitor the sugar situation, but no need for meds at the moment. BP was up though so I have to take 4 readings per day over a 4/5 day period and pop the results back to the surgery. I've been taking Atenolol for years now and he's thinking that might need adjusting/changing.

Off out for coffee with the ladies this morning, think I'll be exhausted when I get home, nearly got blown over walking along the seafront yesterday

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning you two :) Morning everyone :)

Ally have a good 'un :D

Jen that's good news about the sugars, and I'm sure they will soon sort out the blip with your BP - Mick had a similar issue last year but they soon sorted that with different meds :) xxxx

Well it's another wet and windy day here, but that's supposed to start easing off later. Hope so as this is my least favourite weather, as it's near on impossible to get out and about in it! I want to walk up and see D later, if she's not busy, and then there's zumba tonight - having missed Monday's class I really need the exercise :Hi:

Have a good day all :) xxx

Morning all

Rather grey and damp this morning. Same as with Jen - a very wet and blustery night last night which meant I had the windows closed because of the noise (from the awning - my bedroom is at the back of the house overlooking the patio) which in turn meant it was so stuffy and hot and I had a really restless night - it's going to be a long day today :(

Kaz, agree - I really dislike this weather. I can do cold, wet, windy if they're all on their own, but any combination of those three is just horrid. I'm so ready for spring and sunshine. I'm just itching to get things done in the garden.
Jen, good news re the blood tests and fingers crossed a small tweaking of the BP meds gets that settled as well
Enjoy Hairy Mary this evening Ally; a mini celebration definitely needed once the final exam papers are marked (well any excuse really  )

Usual work day for me and then out for a few drinks with colleagues.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, lots of rain overnight but it is bright and breezy now. I've got another cold   and am not feeling the best. We were supposed to go dancing tonight but will see how I feel, it's more important that I get to bed early as tomorrow is babysitting day. I was awake for a couple of hours during the night too. I've quite a few bits and pieces to do including the supermarket run, but once they are done, I think taking it easy is the plan. Better to have the cold this week than next week though, with our trip so near! Have a good day everyone :)

Oh no Osc, but you are right about the timing. Get some mega Vit C and zinc, that will help sort you out ((((x))))

Morning :)
Struggling with that smiley, it's absolutely foul out there. We had it all night too, roaring through the window.
A bit of rain doesn't bother me, but as Kaz said, you really can't do b*gger all in this! Trees are down, roads flooded, even the trains disrupted as the line's flooded :(

I'm going to make a shepherd's pie later, to see us over the next couple of days...thankfully the forecast for tomorrow is much better ;)

Afternoon all

Couldnp't get anything at all on the ole interwebby thing this morning

Done our shopping, sorted out a few other bits and bobs - Grumpy is having a bonfire, I've just rung the Bombeiros to let them know.

Been quite spring like today - short sleeves 8-)

Keep well and warm over there xx
