while rescue services were looking and finding a missing (10days) German tourist 600ft down a ravine,they came across another badly decomposed unidentifiable body of another man.

the German it was later discovered had left a note in his hotel room -no details of that been made public

Madeira does seem to have more that its fair share of these events.

You have to feel for the families and friends of both men.

unfortunately there are so many high/steep places that you need to keep aware of your surroundings
