Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 15 Jan 2016, 07:18

Good morning. :D

Another fine day forecast. 8-)

After a bit of Domestic Goddessness  I'm popping into town for a few bits and meeting a friend in Tiede for coffee and cake. :D :D

Got a couple of programmes to watch that I recorded (including last Sunday's Himalayas!) then off out tonight for the usual beers and tapas. I missed it last week as I was in Torremolinos so lots to catch up on.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning all :)

I'm off to see a friend later too Ally, well actually she's picking me up here at 11 - Emma from WW - then we're deciding where to go :) Becks is working all day again - she has made the official application to go to the Canadian wildlife centre, for her internship, as this summer's places have just been released! Jo from Osprey wrote her a wonderful letter of recommendation :) Fingers crossed she gets a place! Mick is off to London today, something to do with the big BT/EE merger that has finally been announced so is no longer a (open) secret LOL ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning you two - enjoy your respective mooch / shopping / nattering days

Fingers, toes and paws crossed for Becks from my end Kaz - that sounds an amazing opportunity.
Interesting you say that about the merger no longer being a secret - I have my mobile contract with EE and when I went to renew my contract earlier this month the girl helping me mentioned it; so that was a good few days back :) As of when was it no longer a secret?

Well, usual work day for me - a very nippy start to the day but again one of those lovely crips winter mornings. No plans for tonight but a busy weekend ahead

Have a lovely day all

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment, wonder if it will last.

Good luck to Becks Kaz, it would be a wonderful opportunity.

We're off into town after brekkie, if the weather stays like this we'll have a stroll around the harbour before popping into the greengrocer.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, it is a beautiful crisp bright morning here. I am heading out for a walk shortly, and while I am out, I will collect a ring I left into the jewellers for repair. I'll pop to the butcher also to get some rashers as I want to try out my soup maker..did I tell you I got one ;) Also on the schedule for today is some handwashing and also ironing. The golf course is closed due to frost, so Mr Osc is pottering about in the attic preparatory to putting up some shelves there. Have a good day everyone :)

Afternoon :)
Bitterly cold here with a vicious wind but it's bright and sunny and not raining :D

That sounds brilliant Kaz, good luck to B :)
I should be doing h-wordy stuff but apart from towels in the wash/dry I'm being lazy so far :)
Not helped by the fact that Bb's been here all morning (out soon), also being lazy and with the cricket on :)
Perhaps I'll just give up for today and read this afternoon :D
Hope you're all having a good day

Thanks everyone, I shall pass on the kind words to Becks :)

Brrr it is chilly out there, Emma and I went to Costa in the Quays then decided to stay in the warm under cover, and went round the shops. I got a few more bits for Harry from his kit list - thermal socks, hats, gloves, scarf from Mountain Warehouse, all bargains :) Then we came back here for another cuppa so Emma could see the dogs again, Fraggle in particular really loves her LOL Then after she went I got my ironing done in front of the telly, last weekend's War and Peace :)

Harry just rang, he is coming for his birthday weekend in two weeks time - hooray!!! :Hi: Still no results from his English exam though, we were told they'd be in by today, so the poor lad is on pins :? Hopefully soon!
