Evening all, I'm pleased you all had a bit of fun with my dates.

So, I've taken Sasha to a&e (as our doc is still closed), and she's been given the all clear, woo hoo!! So time to start planning a holiday!!

Just had a couple over for dinner, had a lovely BBQ dinner, (full credit to hubs). (We really need to socialise more).

Sorry, I have read all you have written, but after a few beers and let's say a bottle of wine, I'm a bit challenged to reply to all.

What is the time difference between you and us Weka; 11 hours?

I remember a year or so back having a skype video call with friend who lives in Tauranga (NZ North Island) and it was funny - there she was in her dressing gown nursing a cup of tea and me just home from work with a glass of wine in hand :D

Good morning all, from central England.

It's a dull day here. I think I'll miss my morning walk today.

Hope you are all O.K.

Be good. :Hi:

Morning all, it's a nice bright morning here after some very heavy rain in the early hours. We are waiting for Kellie to arrive soon, she will be here for the afternoon while Michael and his mummy and daddy go to see Mary Poppins. Then they will come back here and we are all going to the pub next door for tea. This cold I have affects me differently every day, today by dose is full of it  I always get something over the Christmas holiday  Mr Osc has made some some ginger muffins which smell yummy even with my clogged up nose! Have a good day everyone :)

Afternoon all!!

Busy busy here, T was up at 5am, putting lights on and generally being a PITA before going to do a long shift at the farm.....I eventually got back off to sleep at about 8 (!!) woke up at 9 and then after a quick brekkie, got cracking with taking the decs down and sprucing the place up a bit. I wanted to do a tip run, so tidied out the garage a bit as well, paint tins etc, then washed the floors, washed up, hoovered round, (still need a shower!!) and am now gasping for a coffee so I popped on here whilst drinking it ;)

J isn't well.....she went out for a Nandos last night with her friend at 6 and was back at 8.30 and in bed at 9!!! She's got a temperature, aches and pains and a nasty cough...I doubt she'll be at work this evening, she's still not up. Oh and the cat was sick on the carpet so T cleaned it up....in a fashion... all before I got up, so he's sort of forgiven for clattering about at 5am!!

No plans for the rest of the day....putting the decs back up in the loft and having a shower though!!

Have a good Sunday all (thanks Kaz for sorting the normal smilies out ;) ) xxx

Evening :)
I've been on here but not for long at a time. Been busy on and off, in between watching cricket in the sunshine :)
Decorations down, but still have my Poinsettia going :)

Good luck with the new neighbour/s Meriad xx
And for tonight's dinner we're having...roast turkey :Hi: Tesco had reduced their frozen breasts to only £3 yesterday so I was thinking of sandwiches for the week, but it seemed a shame not to have a roast too - I've even made stuffing (cranberry, orange & hazelnut) :D
No brussels sprouts though, don't think they'd had a veg delivery and I wasn't going to W/rose as well - and the pigs in blankets were still full price!

Hope you're all having a nice evening
x

Di I still have a turkey crown in the freezer, a cheap deal ;) I think I will cook it during the week, both for a dinner and for cold too - I love cold turkey :D

My poinsettia died during the week  I kept one going until March once, gawd knows how

Weka, that's great news about S :Hi:

Aggers, it has been horrid here all day, my patio flooded twice  Far better to stay indoors xx

I hope all of the poorlies are better soon, you Osc ((((x)))) and Gal's Jen (((x)))

It's 12 hours difference, but daylight savings dependent, so swing from 11 to 13 hours difference I think. I use to know all this off the top of my head, but now I just call it the light months and the dark months. The light months, are over my summer, i think 11 hours difference, but means there's times when I'm on, and so are others, so I can get into a chat, the dark months are over winter, and I with daylight savings changes, means no ones on when I am on, so I can only read the day's news and post a reply and look again the next day. You can see the tumbleweed blowing down the boards.
