We both have money to spend but it won't be today.
Both a bit jittery as we're off to the hospital in a while for Bb's eye appointment.
We do want to hear what they have to say but have no way of knowing whether they can help it or not so daren't get our hopes up.

my day hasn't gone quite as planned. Nadine isn't feeling well so didn't go to work.... I'm not really in a rush to go anywhere so Karl will pick me up on his way home (he sort of passes by anyway) so I can go collect my car.

First day of normality here - aaaand breathe!! Yesterday we were all invited to Amy's house for lunch/tea which she'd prepped all herself, "Christmas lunch" but was basically just a chicken dinner LOL with mounds of mash!! It was her first go at entertaining properly, and she did a grand job, although in T's words, she could learn a thing or two from Jen in cooking Watched the last part of And then there were None.....oooooo Aidan Turner in a towel *drool*

Today T has gone back to work for one day....we had two nights in York booked tomorrow and NYE but due to the floods and the fact the hotel's spa facilities are unusable as that floor is flooded, we have cancelled and looks like we'll get a full refund! T fancies going north, but I think it's too late to book anywhere and tbh I would rather stay home now, perhaps have Lewis stay overnight one night and take him out somewhere, I think he needs some one-to-one for a bit. I'll see how T feels about this when he gets home. Jen is currently out having lunch with her dad and his g/f and her kids, and his mum. J and I popped round to see her Nanna (his mum) the other night so she's seen her before he did this time! I've been to get some food shopping in this morning and then stripped our bed and coloured my hair, have ran the hoover round and am now having a minute

Gosh that's a very busy post Gal!! I think you are very wise to have cancelled, and I hope your time at home instead will be enjoyable

We've had a long walk out, down to the Docks, into the Quays shops, and then home again, via D's for a cuppa I bought my sister a colouring book in The Works ( ) and a lovely soft wool polo neck with 3/4 sleeves in the new Fat Face shop there It's a mid blue colour, really nice It's about 4 miles all told, but it was quite lovely in the sunshine
