Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 21 Dec 2015, 07:24

Good morning. :)

The sun will be shining again but I shall be seeing it through Jacob's bedroom windows. I'm giving his room a paint and a spruce up for his visit on Saturday. :) :)

His room is huge so I know I won't finish it all today...but the more I do today the less to do tomorrow.

Going for a run first though as I STAYED IN all day yesterday...and really enjoyed it!

(Won't be making a habit of that one though!)

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, hope you get lots of painting done! Nice for Jacob to come home to a fresh new room :D

Morning all :) I've got a nice day in prospect, it's the Christmas meal today with my WW friends :) I've ordered roast beef with all the trimmings, and am really looking forward to it :D We are off to a nice little restaurant near the Cathedral, straight after the meeting ;) I made some (WW pointed) mini mincemeat and apple filo parcels to take to the meeting as well, for anyone who wants one with a cuppa 8-)

Looks like rain here, and it's forecast, but never mind  :?

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, not a cloud in sight.

We're off to Olhao later, to sort out the water. Apparently, I have to sign the form to stop the service and then they take away the meter. Which means no water.  I can't do it next Monday, no time, so we're going to have to try and sort something out 8-)

Then we're off to Conceicao, to get some gravy granuals and other stuff I know we can't get oop in Ourique.

Enjoy your lunch Kaz and your paiting Ally.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Great use of the word 'paiting' Ton...it's actually a Korean word of encouragement which I'll need stuck indoors painting on such a lovely day.

Morning :)
Horrid weather again, really strong winds and rain on and off - for the forseeable future

Tree's done :x
Pics are on my phone, will try and upload them later so I can get one on the board here.
Ally I enjoy painting when it's in an unused room, down here it's no fun at all because of the dog so we keep putting it off.
Have fun Kaz, and enjoy your meal out :)
Good luck with the water Ton - Portugal isn't very good at efficient, is it? :?

Today I shall be doing odds and ends, and maybe going into town, plus either I or Bb is picking up our neighbour from Brockenhurst station - she's been away for the weekend and has had a carpal tunnel op so can't drive yet.
Have a good day all

Morning all, the start of Christmas week, that sort of crept up on me  Damp day here, but hey it's the shortest day of the year so it can only get better! We had a nice day yesterday, at a dance first (goodness it was hard to stay in my chair!) and then to the local get together in the house of someone down the street - it was nice and we stayed longer than we had intended. Today - shopping around for car insurance, need to go to the library, and the ever-present ironing so plenty to keep me busy. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :)

Yesterday went really well. Mother was up and in good form when we arrived and was happy to see everyone and enjoyed opening her pressies. She does get really confused and isn't always sure who's who, but the visit went really well :D :D :D

Afterwards we went off for a pre Christmas get together, the children loved it and it's so lovely to see how well they all get on, especially as they don't see each other very often.

Today we'll be back at the CH to take mother and her key worker Chris out for lunch.

Hope you all have a good day :)
