At least the coalition removed the requirement to SORN your vehicle every year when it was off the road. Something I note the press made absolutely nothing of. It was a small nightmare to have a vehicle off road when you were out of the country for extended periods of time....

However that 13 years of changes at the DVLA have been absorbed by the bureaucracy as a child to its mothers milk and will take decades to remove. Just like the BBC....
