Have had a smashing day! We did a 7-8 mile walk, the weather and the area are beeeauuuutiful It's an amazing place, such a lot of history and beauty...it's our dream to live here. One day....

We slept for 11 hours solid last night!! We went to bed at 9.30 and dropped off right away....stems from having little or no sleep Saturday night (we were on a sofa each, that was too small to stretch out on, and then 'up' at 6.30) but oh boy were we refreshed this morning!! Had our walk and then after tea we are going to stroll up the street to one of the pubs here in Alnmouth for a drink and to watch some live music Forecast for Wednesday is um....interesting....hopefully we won't get too drowned!
