Afternoon :)
A lovely day here - eventually! It was ok first thing, Minnie and I enjoyed our walk, then it got darker and rained for an hour or so, but brightened up again, hopefully will stay that way.

Poor you Aggers, hope you start to feel better soon x
Enjoy your picnic and tapas Ally :)
Loz I'm sure they will be thrilled with your quilts, they're lovely - sorry I haven't got to my material yet x
Very glad you slept well Kaz, that will help, as well as rest. Really hope they work out what's causing it this time (((x)))

Don't know what time our visitors will arrive, no point guessing as they'll be stopping on the way, plus the obvious masses of traffic.
Been trying to do just a bit at a time, made sausage rolls so at least we can offer them something :)
Had to go to the post office again, would you believe Bb ordered some new sandals online and when they arrived there's one each of 2 different pairs
Hope you're enjoying the day
x

 Di, I once ordered B some riding boots from eBay, and they were one of each from two pairs! Better still the seller ignored my emails and it had to go it a paypal dispute in the end. I got my money back though ;)

Knowing my prediliction for wearing odd shoes Ally, I probs wouldn't have noticed :P

It's lucky he even noticed with his current eyesight :)
It was Sportsdirect, they were good and gave him a freepost address.

Visitors got here about 3.30, loved the sausage rolls - cousin D used to be manager of a Michelin-starred hotel so is a bit of a foodie. These had caramelised onion chutney in ;)
It's his birthday today and they didn't tell me so that I wouldn't feel I had to do anything special (we all stop doing birthday cards at 18).
Just as well, having delivered them to their holiday house and chatted for a couple of hours am hoping for a second wind ;)

Edited to add, they have the most beautiful dog (cousin D and g/f), a year-old whippet called Sebastian who's usually scared of other dogs and strangers but was instantly at home here :) Minnie's so gentle, he obviously realised immediately she was a friend, they had a lovely time playing with Minnie's toys :)
