Good morning all.

We are having a quiet day today, as we are having a busy one tomorrow -
a coach trip to London, a visit to Buckingham Palace, and a boat trip with
lunch on the Thames. Pick-up time 7.30 am in the town - so we will have
to be early-risers.

Hope you are all feeling fine.

Evening all, Thursday is grandchildren day and we had promised Michael a day out and we went early. The plan was to visit the National Museum, he used live within walking distance of it so we spent a lot of time there when he was much younger. He expressed a wish to travel into town by train, to the museum by tram and home by bus.....public transport being a bit of a novelty for him  Kellie was happy to go anywhere! This was quite an expedition for us as we had not done a day out with them both, having to bring her food and so on, but it all went well and we had a lovely time, going to the museum and having lunch in their cafe. The weather was starting to disimprove as we got home around 2.30, turning misty and cooler so that was good too.

We had them for longer than usual as Miss Osc was going out after work and SIL couldn't collect them till 7pm,but I had Kellie all ready for bed and Michael was delighted to see Daddy which would have kept him going even though he was tired...perhaps nearly as tired as us  Mr Osc has just gone to bed and I won't be far behind him! Really enjoyed the day though, they are such good children.
