Your chance to vote for ....

..... a new flag for New Zealand! :D

Well out of that lot, I'd actually go for the silver fern with red in the top left and with the Southern Cross stars on a black background.

That's the one at the top, on the left.

I don't really like the unfurling fern frond variations, and that Union Jack parody is a bit of a joke, really.

Wonder what Weka thinks about it!

None of them do much for me, but if I was being water-boarded and had to pick one it would be the third left on the top row - the fern and Southern Cross on a black background.

Aw, seems a bit of a shame really - the current flag is rather smart :) 8-)

My favourite is the red, silver fern, the southern cross on the blue background.

I would have liked some green, instead of red.

I'm not too keen on black, even though it is a national colour, just feels to somber to me.

Basically the PM wants to change the flag as its very similar to the Australian flag, and I guess it's another way of shaking off our early history of being governed from there.

I like our current flag, and I'd like to keep it, but only if Aussie changes theirs. . I agree that they are far to similar and even joe Blog public living here and Australia up to a few months ago would have had trouble telling you the difference between them.
