wasn't she planning on working fairly close to due date? Hopefully she'll have some time between finishing work and bump arriving to put feet up and relax a bit?
She finishes work next Friday Ria - bump is due 2 weeks later
There are reasons for her staying late - she took redundancy, as they moved their HO to London, from Slough. They asked her to stay one for 6 months, that's been extended to 8 months as she can now get her mega shares.
She works for Amazon, in HR, and has been there for about 12 years.
We were in the car 3.5 hours yesterday and the monkeys were starting to get restless. Travelling for 24ish hours on a plane with them . That's why it probably won't happen. The youngest isn't, but is almost ADHD. And then there is the cost of flights.
Yikes!!!!!!!!! Just did an uneducated look, $12,000 ok so that is probably 4 adults, but I don't imagine a child's fare to be much cheaper.
Ton I worked with someone who, for the best of reasons too, stopped work 12 days before her (first) baby was due, happily believing all those who said first babies are always late, only to give birth 36 hours later
