Good morning, all.

It's bright and breezy here. Been for a brisk walk, now there's a few indoor jobs to tackle.

Hope you are all O.K.

I've been nursing Sasha again. this now makes 3 earaches in a month. Sigh...

Ouch, poor Sacha. My nephew had issues with recurring ear infections when he was very young and the only thing that cleared them up once and for all was a long term course of mild antibiotic. I'd need to check with my SIL, but from memory he was on them for about 6 months...

Hi all, first time I've put the laptop on since Friday night!

Gorgeous here now after a very iffy weekend :| We had the littlies sleep all night on Saturday and even though they were really good, neither of us slept a wink (Lily was in the travel cot next to our bed so every time she moved I was wide awake!!) Tom had his one-Sunday-a-month day off the farm so we had planned to return to Richmond again once the kids left, but the weather had other plans.....was damp and drizzly...so we went to the beach!  It was quite nice there, we had a coffee and a snack outside and it got out really lovely...for about half an hour! Called into see T's brother on the way home, not seen him for about two years! Got a bit cross with Amy though...we'd deliberately left our phones in the car when we went to John's but Amy posted on FB that she was panicking as she couldn't reach us  She'd also left voicemails on the phones....I spotted Jen's reply on Amy's FB status and clapped out loud 8-) (she'd more or less told her to grow up, we were having a rare day out and to get over herself :) )

Kaz, did you hear anything about the WW job?

We have been shrouded in a sea mist for most of the day - well, we're only 10 minutes walk to the beach - and it's now so bad, the houses across the road are all ghostly

The only time we've seen it like this was in February, about 12 years ago, so this is so unusual.

And it's quite cool, at 25C

Meriad now I'm open to all options and ideas. Though I'm not convinced this time is only earache. She been sick a few times today, and the antibiotics aren't doing anything, so I think this may be a virus, but I think an earache is there as well. I think she has picked up a 2 for 1 bonus. We go to Rotorua on Thursday, she has to be better by then

Poor little thing! You know it might well be that she has a virus, as you say, and as her 'weak spot' is her ears she has the earache! I found with mine that a virus often 'went' straight to their weak spots :/ With B her tummy, with the boys their chests xxxxx

Man it's 10 pm, is she ever going to go to sleep tonight?? Bedtime was 3 hours ago! It's like she trying to say all of the last two days worth of words. She's hyper. Geoffs just trying to settle her in bed now, she eaten and drunk something. I'm expecting to change the sheets within the hour. Her weak spots are tummy, throat and ears.
