Look what I just bought!

The photo in the link doesn't really do it justice. It is incredibly dramatic.

Its the same artist as our Audrey. And from the same shop.

When we bought Audrey I know Mick gave in as he preferred Eddystone so I decided that I would save up my adoption panel money and buy it him for his birthday. So today I ordered. He has no idea!!!

I went with the same gallery that we bought Audrey from as I knew that I would have to buy it from somewhere where it would have to be delivered and their service was so good I wanted to give them the commission!!! And, as a returning customer, they agreed to deliver it free of charge. So it should be arriving at my mums sometime next week.

I haven't mentioned to her quite how big it is - I want her to store it for me until his birthday in November!!!!!! And I think rather than my try to get it from my mums house to our house (if it is anything like the Audrey it will be heavy and cumbersome) I will just wrap up the certificate of authenticity for him and we can fetch it from my mums later.

All I've got to do now is make sure we don't go to Padstow whilst we are in Cornwall in case he wants to call into the gallery. I know that they don't have any more Eddystone's but they do have quite a few other JJ Adams pieces and he liked the telephone box one as well!

Oh yes this is the other one you showed us isn't it :)
I'm sure Mick will be really thrilled with it - where's it going to go?

I love both pictures but not for me or my house :)

I think this one will go in the dining room although there is space in the lounge.

Audrey is in the lounge, on the wall opposite the fireplace.

We did think about putting Audrey on the wall in the lounge opposite the window but "my" sofa is on that wall which means I wouldn't be able to see the picture.

We have a big canvas on that wall at the moment (well, 3 canvas's that make one picture) of the world as seen from space.
