Yesterday I gritted my teeth and got on with a job I'd been putting off
We bought a new metal filing box the other week, you know for all that paperwork we were told we wouldn't need any more with a paperless society
Our old one was bursting at the seams despite a regular cull; this one is a bit bigger and stronger...I won't bore you with the details but it took ages and I still have to sort out some more stuff from the old file, then put that one upstairs with 'permanent' Stuff in it
Might save that for tomorrow when it's raining
I rewarded myself by playing in the kitchen and making a yummy dinner

Today I think I deserve a book too

Morning all. I is back. Did anyone notice I was gone?????

Been reading but not felt like posting - drama's at home. All seems calm again thankfully. For now at least.

I'm at work this morning, clocking up the hours to take more time off over the summer.

Girls last but one day at school today and L's last day at the lower site. They are having a fun day tomorrow at the upper site (yrs 9 upwards) although they finish at 2pm. Personally, I think they should just give them the day off! All the hassle with getting costumes together (a movie star theme) and then me having to give them money to pay for the stalls that they have and £2 each bus fare it would be cheaper for them to just have the day off!!!!

Allotment for a couple of hours this afternoon and then yoga this evening. L has to parcel up all her bedding stuff for camp (she has to wrap her pj's, bed roll, sleeping bag, blanket and pillow up in a tarpaulin and tie it up with rope) so its all ready for tomorrow. She heads off at around 5pm. I'm very envious - I want to be going to camp. Though I don't want to be sleeping on the floor in a tent for a week!

It was lovely being able to relax in the lounge and watch the box yesterday evening. We have a lovely view of the garden from all the living areas, it's quite charming. Back to musical chairs here in the kitchen this morning, was it this cupboard or that one

It's operation clean up at the rental today. It looked very good when all the furniture came out so shouldn't be too onerous. The bathroom and kitchen were clean, but I'd like to give them a quick whiz over, wash/sweep floors and pop the hoover over. There's also a bit of garden rubbish in the shed so that means a trip to the tip.......if we can find it We hand the keys back to our landlord tomorrow, don't want to risk losing any of our deposit.

Afternoon all, life rather busy at the moment Children here today, when Kellie wakes from her nap I will be bringing Mr Osc and Michael to play pitch and putt and I'll collect them when they are finished. We were out dancing last night, but a quiet weekend is ahead which will be welcome, as we've been on the go since we got back from our holidays.

I'm back, after a perfectly perfect day!!! It was wonderful, I think I will make a separate post about it all tomorrow as for now I am dead beat!!

I took lots of photos, and will sort those out tomorrow.

Then on top of B's wonderful day Harry presented me with his certificate for passing his piano exams!!!! I knew he was taking them but they kept it quiet about him passing to surprise me! I thought I was going to burst!!
